THE BEGINNING
In 1947, in a premise of 50 m2 situated in Levallois-Perret, Louis Tellier and his son, Jean, produced for a restaurant owner friend their first "mill" for passing the fruits and vegetables through.
A small revolution in the world of cooking, the "LT mill" was to gradually become an essential tool for cooks. Light purees, milled soups, compotes and mashes, some new pages in contemporary cooking were turned over.
The company grew and, in 1957, it established itself in La Garenne-Colombes. It equiped itself with sheet metal machines and it set up a hot dip tinning workshop. |

A WORLD SUCCESS
In 1960, Tellier imagined a chip cutter of a completely new design. This innovation spread throughout the world and took part in the international success of the 'French fry" (with this product, TELLIER started to work at the international), "Pomme allumette", "Pont-neuf" and other soufflé potatoes which find their place on all the menus. Although copied a good many times throughout the world, several hundreds of thousands of the original LT chip cutter were produced. |
